As we wrap up some of RetailEX ASEAN 2018, we wanted to share some of the key highlights of the show.

The online penetration of retail in China is close to 20%. explained the 3 main reasons for the growth in online commerce - convenience, price and assortment.

There is a separation between online and offline channels and that is a challenge. For example, while running business on both onlin and offline, it's difficult to negotiate business margins and allocate stocks.


The seminar provided solutions for retailers to capture shoppers' data efficiently and make use of the right location based technologies. The seminar discussed big data trends and using marketing triggers in the digital world.
